My Education & Teaching Background
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in History. I worked in the software industry for many years then became a stay-at-home mom with my son during the first years of his life. I began working as an aide in Pre-K/ECSE, and then went back for my teaching certificate. I am certified to teach K-6 grades, ESL, and Special Education. This is my twelfth year at Frost and my second year teaching kindergarten. I am married and have a son, Cash.
Frost Elementary is a Capturing Kids Hearts Showcase school. During the year the students will work on mastering skills based on the TEKs mandated by the Texas Education Agency and the State of Texas.
